The tournament, which runs from June 12 to July 5, 2026, will see 12 nations battle for supremacy. The teams are divided into two groups, with Group A featuring Australia, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands. Group B comprises hosts England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, Ireland, and Scotland. Fans are particularly anticipating the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for June 14 at Edgbaston, while the opening match will feature England taking on Sri Lanka on June 12.

Among the 18 officials selected, India is represented by four highly qualified individuals. The group includes the distinguished match referee GS Lakshmi, along with umpires Vrinda Rathi and Janani N. Additionally, Gayathri Venugopalan is set to make her tournament debut, joining an elite group of professionals tasked with managing the pressure of world-class cricket.
